Located in Manitowoc, Wis., Wilson Junior High School enrolls more than 1,200 students in grades seven through nine. The school s foreign language department provides instruction in French, Spanish, German and Japanese. It offers a range of sporting activities, including cross country, football, soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, golf, softball, tennis and cheerleading. The school also provides a variety of extracurricular activities and student clubs, such as builders and forensics clubs, Destination Imagination, math bowl, music groups, peer mediation, school newspaper, literary magazine, a student council and yearbook. In addition, its media center provides a variety of educational and online resources. It is administered by the Manitowoc Public School District, which enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 12.
