Kathleen Wildwood is the founder and director of Wildwood Institute in Madison, Wisconsin, providing health consultations and education in herbalism and holistic healing, including a comprehensive Herbal Apprenticeship Program. Kathleen has studied and practiced in the scientific, shamanic and Western herbal traditions for over 25 years. The former President of the Madison Herbal Institute, she has taught classes at Meriter Hospital, UW Medical School, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and Edgewood College. She has been in private practice and teaching herbalism since 1996.

We offer a comprehensive Herbal Apprenticeship program, holistic health consultations, herb walks, classes and local speaking events. We also make and sell a variety of high-quality, intelligently formulated herbal products, available through our online Products Store. We grow many of the herbs ourselves, locally and without pesticides. We are committed to environmentally friendly packaging and practices, and a holistic perspective. Our intention is to bring back an appreciation of the wisdom and magic of nature into modern life.
