Washington Middle School is a part of Kenosha Unified School District 1, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Washington Middle School was named after George Washington, the first president of the United States. Its facilities include a library, cafeteria and gymnasium. The school serves more than 600 students in grades six through eight. Washington Middle School offers a range of general academic and extracurricular courses. It also supports a variety of sports activities, including football, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, soccer, and track and field. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that conducts monthly meetings and supports several events and activities. Washington Middle School is located in Kenosha, Wis.
