History
After working together at The Hook Brothers Piano Company, T. Lane Ward and Cecil Brodt founded Ward-Brodt Music in 1927. While Cecil Brodt branched out by starting his own music store in North Carolina in 1930, T. Lane Ward continued to run Ward-Brodt Music until his death in 1951. At this point, the Faulhaber family purchased the store. With the acquisition of The Johnson Music House in 1979, Ward-Brodt West was born and the two locations later merged to form the Ward-Brodt Music Mall. And finally in 2015, after many years at our Beltline Highway location, we moved to Fitchburg to our new state-of-the-art facility.
