History
Ice Arena is run by a non-profit group since opening in Verona's Commuity Park in 1994. The arena features an large olympic sized ice sheet, seating for 900 spectators, 6 spacious locker rooms, concession stand, heated mezzanine, meeting room, and a full service hockey shop. Several hours every week are open for public skating sessions. Rental skates are availble in a variety of sizes! Eagles Nest is also great place to host a skating party! It's home to youth hockey groups; Verona Youth Hockey Assoc, Wisc. Ice Spirit Girls Hockey, Verona HS Wildcats. It hosts hockey camps, clinics, and in-house adult leagues year round. It is also the home of the Dane County Learn to Skate Program; teaches all ages/levels to skate and enjoy the ice!
