Established in 2000, Stettin Elementary School serves more than 270 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes English, music, art, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. The school maintains a staff of teachers, guidance counselors, psychologists, literacy coordinators, and speech and language therapists. Stettin Elementary School offers gifted and talented instruction, special education, and reading and math intervention programs. The school provides food, transportation and medical care services to its students. It operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs. Located in Wausau, Wis., Stettin Elementary School is a part of the Wausau School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
