Ms. Rock received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She graduated from Lakeland University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Criminal Justice. Ms. Rock was a student in the Federal Appeals Project, which handles direct appeals for federal inmates. This allowed her to sharpen her legal writing skills and become a strong advocate for her clients. While at law school in Madison, Ms. Rock worked for the Community Immigrant Law Center, where she assisted immigrants in removal defense. Assisting immigrants gave Ms. Rock invaluable insight into the community she wanted to serve. While in law school, she worked for the Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Persons Clinic, assisting Wisconsin prison inmates with post-conviction challenges. That experience is what initially made Ms. Rock passionate about criminal defense work. Ms. Rock is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Sheboygan County Bar, the United States District Court, Western District of Wisconsin, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. She had an article published in the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society. She also served as the Journal's Senior Submissions Editor.
