History
Pourman's is owned and operated by Benjamin Hebl, a Milwaukee native. After playing professional basketball in Prague, Czech Republic for two years, Ben moved back to his home state of Wisconsin with a dream of opening an establishment reminicent of the European pubs he fequented while living abroad. Before opening Pourman's in Feburary 2013, Ben spent his off-seasons bartending at several Milwaukee bars and restaurants. His love of mixology, meeting Milwaukeeans, and the Czech culture fueled his dream of owning his own bar. After two months of renovations and restorations, Pourman's opened its doors to the public in the historic Wiesel Builiding on Milwaukee's popular Water Street.
Specialties
Pourman's is Milwaukee's top seller of Pilsner Urquell, the official beer of the Czech Republic. Pourman's is proud to be the first bar in Milwaukee to offer tap-tables that allow patrons to tap their own pint, at their own table. Each table offers four beer options, that rotate on a seasonal basis. Pourman's owner Ben Hebl makes Milwaukee's best Old Fashioned...from scratch and with fresh fruit. A Wisconsin tradition.
