Founded in 1916, Piggly Wiggly is a chain of more than 600 self-service grocery stores in 17 states across the United States. Based in Monroe, Wis., its list of merchandise includes apparel, collectibles and novelties. The firm also provides recipes for a selection of appetizers, beef products, desserts, seafood, casseroles and bakery products. Piggly Wiggly is an affiliate of C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc., which ranked as the 10th largest privately held company in the nation by Forbes magazine in 2010.
