HistoryFive dentists from the Racine area joined forces and talents to build a group practice. By 1984, oral surgery was brought to the practice and the group had grown from four hygienists to 17; the staff from 12 to 53. The group brought on Capitation plans in 1984 and set up our own insurance plan the following year. In 1992, after a lot of hard work and dedication, Racine Dental Group received accreditation status from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. The building was upgraded in 1991 and additions were put on the building in 1996 and 2001. The 2001 addition increased the size of the children's area and dental lab, allotting for more meeting rooms and room to grow. As of July 2011, an average of 350-400 patients are treated per day by RDG's 11 General Dentists, three Pedodontists, one Periodontist and two Oral Surgeons.
