Pioneer Inn has been a fixture on Pioneer Drive in Muskego since the interurban railway ran through the area. The Inn offers the same charm of a neighborhood pub and in its first five years has also earned a reputation for its exceptional fish fry on Fridays as well as its steaks and other fine dining entrees. Volleyball and horseshoe leagues occupy the outdoor space in the back and in summer patrons can enjoy the outside Tiki bar. Diners can also sit outside during the warm weather months on the covered back deck. Inside, the pine paneled walls and ceiling give the establishment a nostalgia that fits its name and the neighborhood in which it resides.
