HistoryInspired by years of artistic baking, childhood memories, family holidays and delighted reactions from recipients, I started Patricia O'Brien & Co. and my first customers were friends who spread the word. We now mail cookies to customers around the country and love that recipients of our cookies as gifts then become our customers. Since I love to paint, many of my cookies are decorated with painted details or painted scenes. We enjoy creating custom cookies for corporate events, weddings or just about any occasion brought to us by our customers -- we've even made cookies in the shapes of Barbie outfits for table favors at a national Barbie convention!SpecialtiesWe create cut out, decorated butter cookies in hundreds of shapes for any occasion -- wedding favors, shower favors, Welcome New Baby cookies, Thank You cookies, Thinking of You cookies, Happy Birthday cookies, and cookies for all those sweet holidays throughout the year. Our cookies are made by hand and decorated in a variety of techniques, including hand painted scenes in our signature snow globe cookies.
