HistoryI have been in the Pet Industry for 18 years. With 15 years of dog grooming experience! I started my journey in the small business world by opening a dog boarding kennel which housed up to 20 animals at one time. Three years later I added grooming services. I had been in business for nearly 8 years, when in 2003 my husband was ordered to active duty with the Wisconsin Army National Gaurd. He deployed to Iraq in Febuary 2004 and at that time I made the difficult decision to discontinue boarding services. Since then I have continued to groom and recently added portraits to my business. As a groomer I have already established a trust with the dogs and they are usually very cooperative about allowing me to photograph them. As an added bonus, their photo session can be scheduled to immediately follow their routine grooming appointment. They will look extra cute and clean for the photos.
