The Wisconsin City Recycling department, founded in 1991, offers recycling and waste management services. The services offered by the department include trash removal, dust bin and plastic container installations, cleaning, garbage management and waste transportation. The company collects magazines and newspapers, cardboards, alluminium, steel and tin cans, and glass and plastic containers. The department also offers collection services for foil pans and television dinner trays, bottle caps, aluminum foil, pots and pans, silverware, aluminum and steel items and eyeglasses. It offers a recycling drop-off program and has special departments for waste tires, appliances, vehicle batteries and waste oil recycling. Wisconsin City Recycling is a part of the City Council.
