History
The original Howie's was opened in 1945 by Howie Schultz. The business continued under his son Jerry before being sold a couple times from the 1990's and early 2000's. In 2011, business partners Ryan Johnson and Michael Gorder had a vision for the property and undertook a full remodel of the facility. In February 2012, Howie's On La Crosse opened to once again provide La Crosse with a gathering place for all ages. Serving a wide variety of appetizers, entrees and signature drinks, Howie's has reestablished itself as a La Crosse landmark.
