History
Good News Project began 37 years ago and has become a multifaceted nonprofit organization that focuses on connecting volunteers with local opportunities, US based opportunities, and opportunities to serve in the Caribbean. We house a well established, trusted, data secure electronics recycling program that helps people responsibly recycle their old, broken, outdated, unused, or unwanted electronic devices. We also offer a fairly expansive medical lending program to help people in need gain access to the medical equipment that they need to improve their quality of life.
Specialties
Good News Project connects volunteers with meaningful service opportunities both locally and abroad. We offer an electronics recycling program, accepting almost all electronics for recycling that are not large appliances at a low per pound cost. We also have a medical equipment lending closet which loans out durable medical equipment to people in need.
