Locally owned by Kelly Deem, Elsie Mae's sold at local farmer's markets for five years before opening their storefront in 2012. Kelly has been canning & making jams, salsas & relishes as well as baking pies all of her life. She carries on the traditional style of canning and home cooking, having learned these techniques from her grandmother, Elsie Mae. Kelly & her husband James support local growers & purchase almost all of their products within a 100 mile radius. Gluten free and specialty products are available upon request.
Specialties
Elsie Mae's offers jams, preserves, and drink mixes, as well as traditional and specialty pies. All canning and baking takes place in store using all natural, local ingredients from local farms whenever possible. Many different varieties of pot pies offered (you bake). Also offered is Rushing Waters salmon and fish products. Call before you visit, not all days have pies stocked for sale.
