History
The shelter is located on a 29-acre wooded site off of Voges Road in Madison. Our facility includes a state-of-the-art veterinary center, animal exercise areas, walking trails, a barn to house large animals, counseling rooms for adoptions, and special rooms for animals needing extra attention or medical care. In 2009 we enjoyed the successful opening of our new Adoption Center West, located in the High Pointe Centre shopping mall at the intersection of D'Onofrio and Mineral Point between Pier 1 Imports and Pedro's. We also have a wonderful partnership with Mounds where we have Satellite Adoption Centers throughout the community that offer cat and/or critter adoption.
