Good Shepherd Services
Good Shepherd Services is a faith-based campus offering a continuum of health care programs and services to people in Wisconsin. Established in 1981 by the collaboration of 15 area churches, the facility has evolved over time to provide a comprehensive spectrum of services to people of all ages. Good Shepherd Home is a 90-bed facility that provides 24-hour care, and its professionally educated, trained and certified staff includes nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, social workers, chaplains, life enrichment coordinators, dieticians and support staff. Upon admission, a care team conducts personal assessments to get familiarized with the resident s preferences. A personal, resident-centered care plan is designed for each resident. An average day includes three nutritious meals, therapy, group activities, chapel visits, field trips for those who are interested and mobile, special events, and family and lay shepherd visits. The facility also provides various assisted living, community support, rehabilitation and child care programs and services. Good Shepherd Services is located in Seymour, Wis.
