The City Parks and Recreation Department is arguably one of the city's busiest departments, running a myriad of programming for ages from youth to seniors.
It operates the Wirth Aquatic Center, Senior Center and annual Independence Day parade.
The department also maintains the city's parks, trails and open spaces. And it oversees youth and adult sports leagues, using an online registration system.
It also has information on additional community recreation groups, such as the Brookfield Tennis Club and Elmbrook Swim Club.
