Berlin Parks & Recreation maintains various facilities and offers recreational programs for the residents of Berlin, Wis. It operates an aquatic center that has a beach-like entry, floor fountains, 170 feet long water slide, squirting seal, two-flume drop slide, diving board, concession stand, octopus slide and deck chairs. Its Miller Natatorium Pool s hours and programs apply to the fall and spring seasons and end when the outdoor aquatic center opens for the summer. It offers programs for children, youth and adults that include arts and crafts, dance, golf, gymnastics, karate, kick ball, ropes challenge, tennis, T-ball and baseball. The residents are also provided with swimming lessons for all levels. It also provides golf lessons that include introduction to the game, cover club selection, etiquette and proper technique. It additionally provides karate classes in partnership with the Martial Arts America of Berlin to teach some techniques, such as kicking, punching and self-defense.
