The Bellin College of Nursing, formerly known as Deaconess Sanitarium Training School, is an independent, coeducational institution that provides baccalaureate and master s degrees. Founded in 1909, it offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing. The college s academic curriculum includes classes in various fields, such as sociology, anthropology, chemistry, psychology, microbiology, health assessment and human development. The Bellin College of Nursing also provides programs in pediatrics, child care, industrial health, communication and management. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Bellin College of Nursing is located in Green Bay, Wis.
