Founded in 1966, Amalga Composites designs, engineers and manufactures filament-wound composite pneumatic and hydraulic cylinder tubing, pressure vessels, food grade tubing, booms and masts and tubular cores. Additionally, it designs, engineers and manufactures rollers and shafts, electrical tubing and fuse components, torque shafts, magnetic coil forms, launch tubes and other engineered composite components. It offers technical customer support from prototype through production. Its more than 75,000-square-foot manufacturing facility consists of overhead crane bays, separate production lines, coating and painting areas and complete machining capabilities. The company provides high-volume output for domestic and international orders. Amalga Composites is located in West Allis, Wis.
