Located in Charleston, W.Va., West Virginia State Reference serves public libraries. The library has various sources of demographic and economic information about the state, as well as Internet-ready computers available for the use of a patron. It provides a range of reading material, including books, test study guides, audiobooks, government documents, periodicals and reference books. West Virginia State Reference Library offers services to its staff, state resident s, state agencies, legislators, legislative committees, law firms, libraries and municipalities. It is a part of the West Virginia Library Commission, which administers federal and state grants for public library support services.
