Concord University
Established in 1872, Concord University offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs and activities. The university contributes to the quality of cultural and economic life in southern West Virginia through collaborations with public and private organizations and agencies, and through extension of its support and assistance into the region it serves. It offers various educational programs, including courses in accounting, administrative systems, advertising and graphic design, advertising and public relations, Appalachian studies, studio art, athletic training, broadcasting and journalism, biology, business administration, chemistry, communication arts, computer information systems, mathematics, correctional rehabilitation and early childhood special education.
