KVC Behavioral HealthCare is a private, nonprofit organization that provides medical and social services and training to children and families. It serves more than 18,000 children and families every day. The organization offers foster care, case management, and outpatient and residential psychiatric services for children and adolescents. KVC Behavioral HealthCare also provides intensive and residential treatment and family preservation and emergency services, as well as juvenile intake assistance, and supportive mental health and social services. Additionally, it offers in-home family therapy, emergency shelter and adoption services, as well as training to adoptive families, social workers and child welfare professionals. KVC Behavioral HealthCare maintains one of its facilities in Verdunville, W.Va., and provides services to more than 50 counties in Kansas and West Virginia.
