The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority, also known as KCEAA, is a nonprofit organization. Founded in 1977, it offers a range of health care and support services. The authority maintains a staff of more than 220 full-time employees. The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority responds to over 70,000 calls. It provides 24-hour life support emergency medical services. The authority also offers emergency and medical transportation solutions. The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority operates nearly 10 stations throughout Kanawha Valley in West Virginia. It maintains a fleet of approximately 30 ambulances. The authority operates billing, education, maintenance, operations and human resources departments.
