Brian Vaske, D.O., is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at the University Hospitals Health System-Richmond Heights Hospital in Ohio; his osteopathic pediatric residency at Palms West Hospital in Florida; and his pediatric residency at the University of Kentucky Childrens Hospital. Dr. Vaske also has received training in ImPACT concussion testing and interpretation. Prior to coming to Wheeling Hospital, Dr. Vaske was employed at DuBois Regional Medical Center/Penn Highlands, where he founded the Concussion Committee that established the standard of concussion care for the hospital system and area school districts. His special interests include sports medicine, specifically knee injury prevention and diagnosis, and concussions; obesity; and asthma. Dr. Vaske is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics; and a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
