Bennett's Home and Auto Supply Inc. continues to thrive and evolve as a keystone business in downtown Weston. Purchased in May of 1947 by Homer Bennett, the business was incorporated in 1959 and continued to expand its physical location until 1981. Bennett's now includes four buildings. The final addition was the old Weston Police Dept., Now the furniture section of the business. Larry Bennett, now who serves as president of the business, says his father worked for the late Paul Fulks, on the G.I. Bill, after returning home from World War II. Larry worked at the store while in high school and college while earning a degree in business from West Virginia Wesleyan. Brian Bennett, Larry's son is the third generation of his family to work at the store and serves as vice president. He earned a M.S. in Safety Environmental Management from WVU in 1997.
