About the Manor: Originally known as Vancroft, this architectural achievement was designed by Alden & Harlow, the legendary architects to the affluent elite. Built in 1901 the Manor is situated on a private 600-acre nature preserve overlooking the Ohio River. Guests have access to the grounds for hiking, bird- watching, cross-county skiing or private catered events. Nearby activities--theatre, biking trails, music, golf, fishing, horseback riding, museums, casinos and shopping--are short distances from our resort. Accommodations: Seven B&B Rooms with in-suite shower/bath; Six Premium Economy Rooms with European style bathing facilities; Sixteen Economy Rooms with European style bathing facilities. Event Facilities: With Six different locations on property to host your Event, Aspen Manor can accommodate up to 175 guests inside and an unlimited number of guests in a tented outside venue on the grounds! Where We Are: Located in the panhandle of West Virginia in town of Wellsburg.
