Located outside of Joint Base Lewis-McChord - exit 123 off I-5 - Woodbrook Middle School has three unique areas of education. 1. Every child will receive both core curriculum and an additional hour in reading and math at the students' level; 2. The "Why Try" program that helps students choose the apppropriate behavior while at school; 3. A wide range of after-school activities.
Woodbrook's vision as a school is to teach students to become lifelong learners for a changing world. Woodbrook has a "Creed to teach every student common characteristics of successful people. The expectation is for staff and students to model these characteristics throughout their Woodbrook experience and hopefully into their daily lives."
Woodbrook Middle School - home of the Wildcats - in the 2009-2010 school year had MSP scores of 58.5 percent Reading and 22.8 percent Math. This figure represents the percentage of students who met or exceeded state standards.
