Established in 1955, Westview Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. It administers Title I and special education programs, as well as conduct classes in orchestra and art. The school also employs a counselor, psychologist, and speech and language pathologist. Located in Spokane, Wash., it provides food, health and transportation services. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events and programs. Westview Elementary School is a part of Spokane Public Schools, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
