The Newport Covenant Church is a member of The Evangelical Covenant Church. It offers two styles of services on Sunday. The 9am service is a contemporary service aimed at people of all ages. The 10:45am service, Extol, is a service geared toward youth culture, although it also is appropriate for all age groups. The church has a variety of ministry and fellowship opportunities, including groups for women, young adults and a kids choir. The church also distributes food bags for those in need from 9am to noon Wednesdays. The church is adjacent to Newport Covenant Christian Preschool, which has classes for children as young as 2 years of age.
