History
I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 2010. During my clinical externship at Seattle Christian Counseling, I worked primarily with adults and couples in a private practice setting. Shortly after that, I spent 10 months in Los Angeles, CA working as a Foster Family Case Manager for Olive Crest. Through this role, I realized the importance of working with the whole family, as well as social systems, to support a client's recovery. When I moved back to Seattle, I accepted a position as a Child and Family Counselor at Sound Mental Health, where I have provided school-based and office-based therapy to children, teens and families. In 2015, I transitioned out of community mental health and opened my private counseling practice. In addition to my direct clinical work, I have provided mental health supervision to Intern Therapists and have been a trainer and group facilitator on the topics of parenting, conflict resolution, mindfulness, secondary trauma, and addiction.
