The Ram is a casual, family-oriented restaurant with a menu centered on hamburgers, steaks and barbecue, along with a range of craft beers that includes their own Big Horn brews. Red meat has always been a staple of The Ram restaurants, and the Lakewood menu includes no fewer than 16 hamburgers, ranging from the 5-pound “Behemoth” to the more manageable All-American. There’s also a variety of other pub foods, including pizza, chicken, salads, and a seafood menu that includes Alaskan wild sockeye salmon. The crowd at the Ram is largely young and tilts heavily toward the military on Friday and Saturday nights. The Lakewood restaurant, opened in 1983, is part of a family-owned chain that now includes 26 restaurants in five states.
