The Belmont Hotel is located upstairs in the Sterming Block (1889), one of Port Townsend's Victorian-era commercial buildings. The four suites upstairs became hotel rooms circa 1980. These rooms were thoroughly renovated in 2018-2019 by the building's new owners, the first step in what has been a top-to-bottom, award-winning building renovation. The Belmont Restaurant closed in 2018, and is closed permanently. Restoration of that street-level space and our unique basement "Grotto" are almost complete (as of May 2023). Stay tuned for the next chapter!
