The Telecommunications History Group (THG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of the telecommunications industry. With two museums located in Denver and Seattle, as well as an extensive archive, THG aims to connect the past of telecom to evolving technologies and cultures. Through donations and the support of volunteers, THG works to maintain the important heritage of telecommunications and share its stories and collections with the public.
The Connections Museum Denver, housed in a historic building on 14th Street, showcases museum space, original executive offices, and Allen Tupper True murals. Meanwhile, the Connections Museum Seattle, formerly known as the Herbert H. Warrick, Jr. Museum of Communications, features an extensive collection of switching equipment, telephones, and central office and outside plant equipment. The THG Archives, located in Denver, houses historic telephone directories, photographs, documents, and other items, offering research services to visitors. Through its programs and services, THG provides educational resources and online exhibits that highlight the significance of telecommunications history.
