Tacoma Rescue Mission has been serving the homeless and hurting in Tacoma Pierce County since 1912, offering God's help, hope, and healing to the most impoverished members of the community. Through daily meals, shelter, job readiness programs, education, addiction recovery, faith formation, mental health services, veteran support, and youth services, the Mission equips and empowers individuals and families to escape homelessness and step into a better future.
With a focus on providing crucial care tools and life-changing resources, Tacoma Rescue Mission has served over 336,657 meals, equipped and empowered 3,690 men, women, and children, graduated 17 individuals from the New Life Recovery program, helped 440 families and individuals transition into stable housing, and assisted 239 individuals in obtaining jobs or increasing their income in the past year.
