History
Byron Suldan was raised in Bremerton and trained at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Apprenticeship Program. In 1946, he founded Suldan's Boat Works and began building boats and repairing his customers' boats. In 1959, he added the first set of moorage, followed by a second set in 1968. Byron's sons, Greg, Mark, Mike, and Eric grew up at the boatyard, learning the craft from their father. Today, the Suldan brothers own and operate Suldan's Boat Works with help from their mother, Mabel. Over these many years, the Suldans have perfected their craft, worked on thousands of boats, and provided moorage services for boaters throughout Kitsap County and beyond. They surround themselves with a team of technicians and other staff who aspire to the same high standards of the company and the Suldan family.
