Stilly Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and improving the salmon population in the Stillaguamish and Snohomish River watersheds, as well as Island County in Washington State. Since its establishment in 1990, the Task Force has been actively involved in developing community partnerships and strategies to enhance recreational and commercial fisheries in the Pacific Northwest.
With a mission to restore and enhance fishing habitats, the Task Force works towards protecting the environment through better regulations, acquisitions, and partnerships with various groups and agencies. They also offer volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups to contribute to their cause, as well as educational programs that align with state science standards, allowing students of all ages to learn about ecology and engage in environmental research.
