Stanwood Middle School offers a comprehensive curriculum for students in grades six through eight. It has an enrollment of more than 600 students of diverse population and is located in Stanwood, Wash. The school is affiliated with the Stanwood-Camano School District and offers a wide range of subjects, including English, language arts, physics, chemistry, biology, world history and geography, mathematics, and health and physical education. In addition, it offers fine arts, foreign language, music, special education and computer technology. The school provides a variety of facilities that include art rooms, computer laboratory, a library and media center and a cafeteria. It also provides transportation services for students. Stanwood Middle School also has a book and culture club, geography bee and the Newbery reading incentive program.
