Wedel describes her establishment as an uptown salon in an urban area, where her large clientele feels at home in the friendly atmosphere. Vonda is the only stylist in her shop. She is a "Platform Artist," specializing in hair color, perms and cuts, using her own special methods. She keeps the coffee on for her walk-ins and the candy dish full in case they have to wait. All haircuts include shampoo. Prices for adult haircuts is $9-$22; children, $5 and up. Perms start at $60, color starts at $50 and highlights and frosts start at $65.
