The Bellevue office of the Social Security Administration recently moved from its downtown location to a new office in the Midlakes neighborhood.
This office is where to go to apply for new Social Security cards and get in-person assistance on Social Security retirement, disability and Medicare benefits. The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free parking is available in the building’s front and rear parking lot.
Bus service is available on RapidRide by way of the Bellevue Transit Center.
The office is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. except on federal holidays. The office primarily serves northeast King County residents.
The public can conduct most business with Social Security online at www.socialsecurity.gov or by calling 800-772-1213.
The deaf and hard of hearing can access the toll-free TTY number at 1-800-325-0778.
