Seattle Symphony is an orchestra that organizes more than 200 music performances annually. The orchestra also organizes a variety of educational and community programs. Its performances are attended by over 315,000 people annually. The orchestra has recorded nearly 100 CDs that are available on the JVC Classics, Artek and Crystal labels. Seattle Symphony performs in Benaroya Hall in Washington, as well as S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium and Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall. The orchestra operates the Soundbridge Seattle Symphony Music Discovery Center, which has been in operation since 2001.
