Dr. Rebecca Kirschner is a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist specializing in peritoneal malignancies, skin cancer, and GI cancers. Originally from central Florida, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where her passion for cancer research began. She continued cancer genetics research in medical school at Virginia Tech and later at the University of Chicago, focusing on vasculogenesis and tumorogenesis. After completing a year-long internship at the University of Vermont Medical Center, she finished her general surgery residency at Carilion Clinic, deepening her focus on cancer treatment.
