History
In 1993, the founders of QuickMedical were approached by an endocrinologist, looking for a device that could measure height and deliver professional results. Soon after the founders of QuickMedical invented the first digital stadiometer, the 235 Heightronic and created a website to help promote and distribute it. Then NHANES, a government health agency, took the Heightronic around the country in mobile units, gathering population statistics. In 1999, the founders focused on distributing measuring and home health products and in 2003 QuickMedical expanded to medical equipment and supplies. In 2005, QuickMedical GS was created providing products to federal government customers under GSA/FSSA contracts. Since 2007, QuickMedical's increased its gross sales by 50% each year. In 2009, QuickMedical relocated to a larger facility and launched a new website designed with the customer in mind, making searches easier, product information more readily available and purchasing products a snap.
