In 1955, 'Lefty' Pearson designed and manufactured the first machine in the world that would automatically erect beverage carriers. This innovation changed the beverage industry and launched the R.A. Pearson Company, which is now known around the world as Pearson Packaging Systems. The company produces many machines for the beverage industry, as well as a wide variety of case erectors, tray formers, case sealers, bag inserters, robotics, case packers and specialized products. In addition, Pearson has a parts and service department to provide support to its customers throughout the United States. Pearson Packaging Systems is based in Spokane, Wash.
