History
Our nonprofit Montessori school started as a shared vision of Angie Burrell and James Bauckman to provide Montessori education to families in need to help decrease homelessness, hunger and poverty. Our plan was simple, if parents and guardians had affordable, high-quality childcare they could go to work to support their family and the children would get their needs all met. We opened our first school in July 2016 in the Happy Valley neighborhood of Bellingham. We have spent that last 2 years at 3200 Vallette St on Cornwall park and just signed a multi year lease to convert this 5400 sf home into a licensed childcare center serving infants through high school aged children in a variety of capacities including tutoring, counseling and therapy services.
