In August 2007, I took 5 days off to attend TYPECON, a Typography Conference in Seattle. During a carving class, I printed from a linoleum block I carved on an old iron hand press. I was hooked! It was so that my in-laws had letterpress machines sitting around in their Kansas newspaper office. Dreamy as it sounded, I made plans to bring them to Seattle.
