Merit Electric has provided superior electrical services to the Pacific Northwest since 1982. The process begins with our Project Managers, many of whom began with the Company many years ago and have since been promoted to Project Managers. Their hands on training, combined with continued technical training, provides them with the best skills to perform their duties. Tony started with Merit in 1994 as an apprentice electrician and through continual training and education has been promoted to project manager. Tony's experience includes numerous multi-family structures, grocery stores, convenience stores, commercial spaces, tenant improvements, and institutional projects. Jeff came to Merit as an apprentice in 1991, working through the ranks to Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman, before being promoted to Project Manager. Jeff has been involved in a wide range of projects and recently completed a large mixed use development including two 11 story and one 13 story tower. His experience ranges from smaller residential projects to high rise commercial structures. Joe has been a CPA working in the construction industry for over 15 years and has been Merit's CFO since 2000. Prior to working Merit Electric, he worked for Moss Adams, providing assurance services to the construction industry. Todd started with Merit in 1993 and is the lead project manager. He oversees all estimating and project management functions, and holds the Company's administrators' licenses in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. Todd has estimated and managed a broad range of projects, including new casinos, existing casino expansions and remodels, hotels, grocery stores, churches, assisted living facilities, and various commercial spaces. Tom Matthews has worked in the electrical trade for over 28 years, as both a purchasing agent for contractors and as a salesman for electrical distributors. Tom's background and expertise help to ensure that our material costs are very competitive and that the materials selected are the best and most cost effective for each application. Brian has been an electrician for 24 years and is the Service Department Manager Merit Electric. Prior to coming to work Merit Electric, Brian was a sole proprietor and provided primarily smaller commercial and residential electrical service to his customers. Brian has extensive experience in managing manpower and also serves as Merit's internal training coordinator. Mike Siller was an electrical designer with a large electrical engineering firm prior to joining Merit Electric. Mike's design experience includes commercial and office space, residential structures, and educational / institutional facilities. Mike works out of Merit's Portland, Oregon office estimating and managing various residential and commercial projects. Terry began working for Merit in 1983 as a Journeyman electrician and has been promoted to project manager. Terry has worked in the electrical trade for over 36 years. He has estimated and managed numerous large projects including numerous multi-family mixed use buildings, institutional buildings, student housing, new and remodeled commercial spaces, assisted living facilities, tenant improvements, libraries, and marine processing plants. Dan has been in the electrical industry since 1986, with both military and civilian electrical experience. He has managed a broad range of projects ranging from military installations to commercial and multi - family projects.
